Building bridges, one conversation at a time
Invested in our public schools
As a graduate of Mentor Public Schools, and now a parent of two children who attend them, I care deeply about the success of the district.
And in order for our schools to be successful, they must have the support of their community members.
This is why I intend to build bridges between our community, families, and our public schools. As a member of the board, I will do this—one conversation at a time, if that's what it takes.
We can't build bridges without trust. Everyone has a right to high-quality public education. At the same time, everyone also has a right to a transparent public school system. Above all, I will work to ensure the transparency that is essential to the relationship between public schools and the community.
Here's what I intend to do if I'm elected to the Mentor Public School Board:
I will deepen engagement with the parents in our school district, who work hard every day to do the best they can for their kids.
I will support our school staff and teachers and the critical work they do every day of educating our children and keeping them safe.
I will help ensure smart spending and tight budgets, and that the schools stay accountable to tax payers while providing teachers what they need to do their jobs well.
And most importantly, I will support our students, who need a high-quality learning environment that is safe, supportive, welcoming, and collaborative—and empowers them to reach their highest potential.
Whether you're a parent, student, teacher, or tax payer, I'll be there to build that bridge with you. Let's start with a conversation.
Vote for me, and we'll do this together!
